Aviation
Airports operate like small cities—with logistics, retail, security, and hospitality all under one roof and operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The aviation sector demands constant adaptation. It’s a highly dynamic environment where every minute is scheduled.
Aviation is fast-paced, safety-critical, and deeply customer-focused. With over 280 million passengers using UK airports each year, these are high-pressure spaces.
Our services:
- Churchill delivers 24/7 cleaning and hygiene services across terminals, washrooms, airside and landside zones, back-of-house areas, carparks and external buildings (like offices, fire stations, vehicle control points etc).
- We carry out routine daily cleaning, night-time deep cleans, litter picking, waste removal and recycling, high-level and window cleaning (including airside), consumable restocking and quick-response support for things like leaks or disruptions.
- What makes our service unique in this sector is how we deliver it: everything is aligned to passenger movement and flight schedules. Our teams are cross-trained to respond to all operational challenges and adjust in real time—scaling up or down as needed
- Airport operators want partners that are proactive, responsive, and who understand both operational complexity and the passenger experience. We have years of hands-on experience across different complex transport environments, understanding the pressures, the pace, and the priorities.

Our people
Our cleaners are often visible, and once they put on a high-vis vest, they’re part of the passenger customer service experience. Our people are regularly approached by customers that need help or guidance. Our cleaners become ambassadors for the airports and airlines that we support.
We’ve shown that Churchill doesn’t just deliver a service — we become part of our clients’ ecosystem. In aviation, that means joining a community that never sleeps, never slows down, and never stops welcoming people home.
Our aviation leadership team includes former airport operations managers and seasoned mobilisers with decades of sector experience. We are also members of the Airports UK Association, underscoring our long-term commitment to industry best practices.
