Churchill Environmental Services (CES) has won contracts with the New Forest District Council (NFDC) and the London Borough of Hounslow.
The contract with NFDC will see CES deliver Legionella risk assessments and monthly asset monitoring, which includes its corporate and housing stock. NFDC was a previous client of CES and has reappointed it on an initial three-year contract following a tender process because of its social value offering, local employment opportunities and efficient service model.
London Borough of Hounslow’s five-year contract involves CES delivering an annual Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) servicing, a quarterly shower head clean and de-scaling, and additional remedial works as required.
CES was appointed following a tender process thanks to its expert compliance management platform and ability to effectively manage building and system assets. A water hygiene apprentice from the borough will be recruited to learn and develop under CES’s contract lead, with a view to deliver this contract when ready and create genuine social value within the local community. The scope includes 58 buildings across a mix of schools and public buildings, including libraries and children’s centres. CES is also engaging with the Hounslow community projects team to establish initiatives that will positively affect the community through the contract term.
Spencer Culley, director at Churchill Environmental Services, said: “It’s great to announce a series of contract wins from new and former customers. We look forward to delivering our social value commitments through both contracts as a progressive business that delivers high-quality tailored solutions for its clients.”
Jyothi Ramesh, property services and contracts manager at London Borough of Hounslow, said: “We were delighted to award the contract to Churchill Environmental Services following a rigorous procurement process. We were also extremely pleased to see such a strong social value proposition included and so are looking forward to working with their team to help deliver a really important aspect of our building compliance across our estate.”
